Sustainable Fashion Store Rebranding | Zwei Mal Gut

Give a second-hand shop a second life by running a social media campaign.

Overview

While Zwei Mal Gut's Berlin charity shop already carried a fun, eye-catching identity, its marketing never told shoppers why second-hand shopping matters — a gap this campaign set out to close by giving sustainable fashion an emotional reason to matter, not just a practical one.

The core idea emerged from an unexpected discovery: while the shop's price tags contained the necessary facts, they lacked the stories behind each garment — and it's those stories that keep people coming back. This translated into "narrative tags," inviting shoppers to donate not just clothes but the stories attached to them, turning each rack into a collection of shared histories.

The campaign brought this to life through a refreshed visual identity, key visual posters, social content, and physical keepsakes like story-tag booklets — repositioning Zwei Mal Gut from a generic secondhand shop into Charlottenburg's "second-story shop," where every piece of clothing carries a chapter worth reading.
